Charlie Holloway retired from the U.S. Army in 2006 and has been a key part of the QRF since its inception in 2008and joined the Golden West Humanitarian Foundation in 2013 as the QRF Task Manager. He is responsible for managing, planning, and deploying teams of fully trained and certified explosive remnants of war (ERW) technical specialists. He and his teams mobilize withinforty-eighthours and rapidly implement short-term conventional weapons destruction(CWD)and mitigation solutions designed to reduce or eliminate threats posed by explosive hazards to civilian populations.
