Andrei Camerzan
Andrei Camerzan is Country Manager for Moldova and Technical Advisor for Africa at Golden West Humanitarian Foundation, specialising in Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) and weapons and ammunition through-life management. A Colonel in the Moldovan Armed Forces, Andrei brings over two decades of experience in ammunition safety, stockpile security, disposal operations, and national capacity development.
He has held senior technical and leadership roles across Special Forces, General Staff, and international missions, working closely with the United Nations, OSCE, and global humanitarian mine action partners. Andrei played a key role in Moldova’s implementation of the Convention on Cluster Munitions and established the Weapons and Ammunition Centre of the National Army, strengthening national systems for inventory management, SOP development, and technical training.
In his current role, Andrei supports partner nations in strengthening safe, secure, and sustainable ammunition management systems aligned with international standards, contributing to long-term risk reduction and improved national capability.
