INNOVATIONS THAT SAVES LIVES

Golden West Humanitarian Foundation

In humanitarian mine action, the margin for error is zero. Every advancement in detection technology, training methodology, or explosive disposal technique has the potential to save lives on a massive scale. That’s why we have always had innovation at the core of our operations.

From our founder Joe Trocino’s pioneering work in binary demolition systems to our current research partnerships with universities and R&D programmes, Golden West Humanitarian Foundation has spent decades asking a simple question: how do we do this better?

That ethos drives our work across every domain, from deploying drones and machine learning to detect UXO in the field, to developing liquid binary explosives, and novel disposal techniques for white phosphorus munitions, to building world-class training environments that set the standard for EOD operators globally.

Our innovations don’t stay in the lab. They are tested in live environments, refined through real operational experience, and shared across the humanitarian demining community to multiply their impact.
